If you’re ready to refresh and expand your advising skills with all that’s possible for today’s student media, you’re ready for the CSJ Advanced Advising Workshop.
If you’re ready for an immersive, hands-on exploration of topics like data reporting and visualization, virtual reality and 360 video, content engagement across all platforms, and solutions journalism, you’re ready for the kinds of things that will help you move your students ahead in the digital world.
Join us July 14 – 20, 2019, for this chance to upgrade your skills and knowledge with experts from across the country. And you won’t need high end technology to use these ideas either.
Kent State’s Center for Scholastic Journalism is offering a workshop for up to 25 advisers with at least five years’ experience who are already comfortable with the basics of content, technology, law and ethics. Our excellent speakers and trainers will take you from there.
Kent Uni. will pay for your transportation to Kent, Ohio, air-conditioned dorms, food and materials. Graduate credit or CEUs are also available.
Apply by March 1. We will notify you by April 1 if you are selected.
