Eligibility: To participate, entrants must be registered and active members of the ASPA for the 2023-24 academic year. This requirement ensures a shared standard of excellence and commitment among all participants.

Categories:

1. Broadcast: Dive into the dynamic world of broadcasting, showcasing your talents in news reporting, production, and on-air presentation.

2. Film and Video: Unleash your cinematic creativity. Whether it's a short film, documentary, or an innovative video project, this is your stage.

3. Newspapers: For the aspiring journalists, this category celebrates the art of newspaper writing, layout design, and editorial excellence.

4. Literary Magazine: A canvas for the literary artists. Submit your best poetry, short stories, essays, and artwork.

5. Yearbook: Capture the essence of the academic year with your skills in yearbook design, photography, and storytelling.

Important Dates:

• Early Contest Deadline: Ensure your entries are submitted by March 01, 2024, at 11:59 p.m. Central Time.

• Late Contest Deadline: Final chance for submissions is March 22, 2024, at 11:59 p.m. Central Time.

ASPA State Convention: The highlight of our year! Contest winners will be proudly announced at the ASPA State Convention, scheduled for April 25-26, 2024, in Little Rock, Arkansas. It's an opportunity not only to celebrate your achievements but also to engage with peers, attend workshops, and gain invaluable insights from industry professionals.
